Having recently made pastry cream for my Brioche au Chocolat, and having gobs of it leftover, it only made sense to repurpose it. And so, I did what any normal foodie would do with extra pastry cream, I made a fruit tart!
This is such an easy dessert (especially if you already made your pastry cream). You could even buy the tart shell pre-made, although I, for one, like making homemade tart or pie crusts so…
Once your tart shell is baked, fill it with your pastry cream and arrange your fruit nicely on top. I chose to go with strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and kiwis.
To finish, make a glaze for the top, drizzle on top and let that bad boy chill in the fridge. Carefully cut a slice or two and enjoy!
