When I was little, cinnamon rolls always used to be a special treat. We’d pick some up from Cinnabon at a rest stop on the way back from some family vacation and take them home to heat up in the morning. They were gooey and dripping with icing and always super decadent.

I’ve been wanting to make homemade cinnamon rolls for a while now and finally found the perfect recipe. I don’t know about other recipes, but this one was quick! (I guess they normally take a really long time!).

By some grace of god these only take 90 mins in total to make… though I will be honest, I didn’t let them rise for 30 minutes and they still turned out great!

BTW, these are like crack. I actually wish I didn’t know how easy they are to make, since this is gonna be in my back pocket now for the rest of my future cooking and eating existence.

They’re pillowy and fluffy and buttery… I think I need a moment alone.

And who am I kidding? They’re by no means healthy… I don’t even want to think about how many calories are in these little bundles of sugary love, but they are delicious and a special treat.
