This evening, I bring you a quick post before the holiday weekend (a much needed little stay-vacation in my opinion). I have a ton of cool cooking projects coming up to post. There doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to cook and write as much as I want! But believe me, I try! From tamales to Romanian stuffed cabbage to all the brunch inspiration you’d ever want, I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been cooking up! In the meantime though, baked scallops!
BTW, can we talk about how it’s already July? It feels like it was just snowing and now it’s like 90+ degrees in New York! #timeflies
But anyway, back to scallops, which are probably my favorite seafood. I’ve discovered over the past couple months any seafood baked with some butter, garlic, parsley and breadcrumbs is truly the best combination. Mussels, oysters, clams, scallops, all prepared in this fashion… It might just be the secret to happiness.
I also get to show off my new scallop shell baking dishes from World Market. These are one of my favorite new kitchen purchases! If I could decorate my whole apartment in World Market furniture, I would…
But anywho, off to dinner! Stay tuned for more recipes and food porn later this week!
